Posters/labels for the exhibition!!

For the exhibition we will need from each group:

  • a wall label:

very simple with information about the project, materials used, collaborators and acknowledgements, and interaction instructions! sarah will compile and print these. send text to her! sarah@eyebeam.org

DEADLINE: Thursday 12pm

  • a poster

POSTER Specs Dimension: 42 inches Wide and 35 inches Tall Media: Adobe Illustraotor file or compatible PDF file. CMYK. Printed with Large format HP designjet printer at Education Lab (ink jet on matte paper) Spray Adhesive on a Foam board Location: on a hanging wall near your project. One person from your group will be responsible of this process with help of Taeyoon.

Tuesday-Wednesday: Collect contents and Design the poster Send the file to shootmegame@gmail.com by Thursday 11AM. We will review the posters (to check if any info is missing, etc) Set time with Taeyoon to Review and Print the poster (assuming it takes about 1 hour each)

Guideline We are not providing you with a specific design tempelate. Because Your poster is part of your art work and collaboration. Also the design of poster is also something you can take away after the exhibit, to another exhibit, conference or to hang on your bed room, or publish it online as pdf. However, here are few things we do want to see in the poster.

Project Title Your name/ Collaborator name Project Description TEXT SKETCHES (scanned drawings, first codes, etc) DIAGRAM. System & interaction diagram. (How your piece will work in the ideal interaction world) This can be hand drawn or illustrated. PHOTO: of process, production, or party picture with your collaborators, etc CREDIT: Interactivos? 2008 New York City at EYEBEAM

This seems like ALOT to put into a single poster. but remember to SCALE contents according to the importance. For example, your DIAGRAM can be single most important thing, make it big and clear. and other materials can be much smaller. We are not planning any group workshop for the poster, for everyone seems to know what they need to know. I will help with any design or layout upon request.Posters will be printed on Thursday

  • short interviews

(with beryl or verina) for screening on the big screen
